Am 3. und 4. Dezember 2014 fand in Berlin das
3. Nationale Biobanken-Symposium zu dem Thema „Biobanken-Forschung in Deutschland: Vom Konzept zur Realisierung“ statt. Ausrichter des Symposiums war das deutsche Biobanken-Register und der Verein TMF.
Die Hausarbeiten der Übung im Bürgerlichen Recht für Fortgeschrittene werden am Donnerstag, 4. Dezember, um 18 Uhr in Raum 1507.003 (Hörsaalgebäude) zurückgegeben.
On the 17th and 18th November the 23rd EICAR conference was held in Frankfurt. Various topics were discussed, and six members of the Institute for Legal Informatics gave presentations about their current research projects.
On Friday November 28th the seminar of Eulisp took place. The students of the current edition presented their inputs on contemporary problems of IT and IP Law. Additionally two undergraduate students following the Schwerpunkt 7 were invited to do the same. Divided in two groups coached by Prof. Forgo and Prof. Heinze 22 students held presentations in english and german dealing with current problems of IT and IP law and newsworthy judgments. The iris research assistants as well as some interested listeners were warmly welcomed to participate and discuss topics such as „Freedom of Expression as an exception to trade mark rights?“ or „Is the Concept of “Big Data” compliant with the principles of European Data Protection Law?“.
