What change do we need in informed consent?
CONTRACT final Workshop – Hanover, 6 September 2012.
The final Workshop of the CONTRACT project is the second meeting, organized by the CONTRACT consortium, bringing together specialist stakeholders who are interested in the topics of informed consent.
The Workshop, hosted by the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, will focus on three tasks: (I) Presenting and discussing current hurdles in informed consent practice; (II) Presenting the finalized CONTRACT project; (III) Discussing main messages, which should be delivered at the joined conference of AcademicGMP and Contract “The Impact of EU legislation on Therapeutic Advance“, which will take place in Brussels, 11 October 2012.
- I) Invited speakers will evaluate on what main changes would they expect from the policy makers to facilitate the process of obtaining informed consent and how different models of consent could improve their experience with consent;
- II) Members of CONTRACT will present the outcomes of the project (Policy recommendations and Informed Consent Generator);
- III) A discussion on the main messages to deliver to the policy makers.
